The vision of the Government is to become the smallest green nation in the Western Hemisphere that provides energy that is reliable, renewable, clean, and affordable to all its citizens through the development of wind, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectrical energy as well as ensuring there are reforms in the electrical system and facilitating the adoption of E-mobility.

Given that climate change is the most pressing environmental and developmental challenge for St. Kitts and Nevis, the development strategies and policy action plans must be anchored in climate resilience. Therefore attention will be given to climate mitigation and adaptation; securing the marine and terrestrial ecosystems, water management, land use, and management to achieve climate resilience.
